| The October Community Gathering will be held on the third Saturday of October (Oct 19th) at Spanish Fort UMC in Spanish Fort, AL. The gathering will begin at 6:00 pm in the fellowship hall with a Pot Luck dinner and fellowship. Childcare will be provided but you must make a reservation with Jennifer Robertson in advance by October 16th (251-626-1334). The children will be dismissed after dinner. This October “Revival Gathering” won’t be your normal Gathering as we will be sharing the results of the survey, have a round table discussion, and have a Q & A session. Due to the unique nature of this gathering, we request that only 4th-day pilgrims attend. There will not be a 4th-day speaker, but we will have a special devotion delivered by Rev. Ben Mayfield. Afterward, we will end with a communion service. Please wear your Emmaus Cross and remember your name tags and worship guides. The gathering should be complete at around 8:00 pm. Be thinking of some questions you have always wondered about and we look forward to seeing you in Spanish Fort on the 19th!! |
